Dwyer Instruments’ engineering department was having
a difficult time meeting deadlines with consistency. The
company hired CEATH Company to design a process for working
with a cross-functional team of engineers, manufacturing,
materials and purchasing people to specify a consistent
engineering design process that would work for the entire
company. This process was then documented in a series of
manuals authored by CEATH Company, and augmented by a software
system, DEEP (Dwyer Effective Engineering Process) that
the company used to track the status of design projects
through the process.
